Emory University Protest: Kemp Applauds Police Response Condemns Radical Behavior

Georgia’s Governor, Brian Kemp, spoke up after protests happened on college campuses across the country in support of Palestinians during the Israel-Hamas conflict.

In Atlanta, there was a protest at Emory University. Some people got detained by the police there. Also, students at Kennesaw State University had a walkout, and there was a rally at Georgia Tech too.

Governor Kemp said he’s seen how Jewish students have been scared by radicals on campuses. He thanked the police for dealing with the situation at Emory.

He mentioned that while peaceful protesting is okay, anyone who uses campuses to scare or promote violence will face consequences.
